If you need a doctor in an emergency when the surgery is closed, you will be directed to the following numbers:

Between 17:30 - 18:30 

  • call 0300 121 0265 for Colerne and Marshfield Patients

  • and 0300 121 0214 for Wick and Pucklechurch Patients        

  • After 18:30, weekends & bank holidays call 111

In a genuine emergency you should call 999. Chest pains and / or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.

If authorised by the doctor repeat prescriptions can be requested in the following ways:

  • By returning the repeat slip issued with your last medication and placing in the box in reception or posting through the letter box when the surgery is closed.
  • By post - please enclose a stamped addressed envelope if you want it posted back to you
  • Online - via the link above.

Please allow a minimum of 2 working days for collection.

 

Dispensing

The surgery dispenses medication to most of our patients. Medication prescribed by the doctors during surgery appointments will be, wherever possible, available for collection at the same visit.

Medication Reviews

Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip. Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.
