* Contacting us about a medical or administrative issue *
You can contact us about a medical or administrative issue by clicking here. It can help you to see the right person for treatment, and could save you a trip to the practice if we can answer questions by phone, video call, or email. Answer a few short questions and we will get back to you as soon as we can within 2 working days.
*Please do not use this for urgent medical problems, or for Medication Requests please continue to use
the NHS app / Patient Access see below*
the NHS App
If you are not already registered online with us, we are strongly recommending using the NHS App.
This checks your identity against existing databases, and you can get online very quickly without coming to the surgery.
From your smartphone, go onto the App Store or Google Play store -search for NHS app
From your Computer go to https://www.nhsapp.service.nhs.uk/ to register
Ordering medication this way saves time, improves accuracy and saves journeys and movement of people.
Use the NHS app to get health advice.
If you are a dispensing patient, and get medicines from the surgery you do not need to / will not be able to register a nominated pharmacy (and it won't alter things if you do). If you normally pick medicines up from a Pharmacy - you can nominate it in the App.
Please click on the Patient Access button below
Access GP online services allow you to access a range of services via your computer, mobile or tablet. Once you have signed up, you will be able to:
- book or cancel appointments online
- renew or order repeat prescriptions online
- view parts of your GP record, including information about medication, allergies, vaccinations, previous illnesses and test results
You can still contact the practice by phone or in person; this is just another option, which other patients have found is more convenient and saves them time.
The system allows a maximum of 2 appointments to be booked up to one month ahead. If you need more than this, please ring reception to book further appointments. Many but not all types of appointments are available for online booking. At present most Nurse appointments are not available online, due to the varying times that appointments take, and the differing skills and qualifications of our nursing staff. Blood test and Flu Vaccination appointments are available. Please ring your surgery to book an appointment with a nurse.
More information including “how to” leaflets and videos of patients and why they are using GP online services are available at www.nhs.uk/gponlineservices
