If you need a doctor in an emergency when the surgery is closed, you will be directed to the following numbers:

Between 17:30 - 18:30 

  • call 0300 121 0265 for Colerne and Marshfield Patients

  • and 0300 121 0214 for Wick and Pucklechurch Patients        

  • After 18:30, weekends & bank holidays call 111

In a genuine emergency you should call 999. Chest pains and / or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.  

 



Test Results

test_vials2When you attend for a test of any kind you will be told how long you should expect to wait for the results. Please bear this in mind and only call the surgery after sufficient time has elapsed. For blood tests and x-rays this is generally one week. You will be able to view blood test results on your online platform such as Patient Access or the NHS app. If you can't see this -they surgery may need to enable this extended functionality- speak to reception.

Please ring your surgery after 2pm for results wherever possible or view online. 

Our reception staff are not qualified to comment on results, but will give out the Interpretation by our medical staff. It is  your responsibility to make any necessary follow-up appointment with the doctor or other clinician.

Please note that we do have a strict policy regarding confidentiality and data protection. In this respect we will only give out results to the person they relate to unless that person has given prior permission for their release or if they are not capable of understanding them.
